Speak to a member of cinema staff or call our Customer Care team on 020 7326 2649, giving as much detail as you can about the item and your visit. We clean the screens after each film and hand over anything we find to the manager’s office for safekeeping, so there’s a good chance we’ve picked it up already and it's safe with the rest of the lost property.
Tickets for big releases like Star Wars or Marvel often go on sale a few weeks before they open in cinemas. Screen Arts shows and live events are also scheduled well in advance. In most cases though, we don’t confirm showtimes for new films until much closer to their release – usually a few days before.
We usually publish listings every Tuesday morning for the subsequent Friday to Thursday. If it’s a Bank Holiday Monday, they’ll be online on the Wednesday morning.

Children under eight years old must be accompanied by an adult

Adults pay the child price with our family ticket. It's available for all screenings rated U, PG and 12A and covers four people: either one adult and three kids (under the age of 15), or two adults and two kids. Perfect for bringing the whole brood to the cinema during the school holidays.

Usually we play 15 to 20 minutes of ads and trailers before a film starts. There’s no pre-show before Screen Arts events though, so we recommend being in your seat for the time on the ticket.

Happy Mondays is our attempt to brighten up the start of the week and help keep the back-to-work blues at bay. That means cheaper tickets all day, every Monday (excluding bank holidays), for everyone!

Not all of our screenings have allocated seating. Arrive early to grab your favourite seats!

Easy! Go to the Box Office – it’s open at least 15 minutes before the start of the first film each day – and let one of our team know what you’d like to see.

Nope! Because you’re not booking tickets in advance, you don’t pay the fee.

There’s no need! Your booking confirmation is your ticket, so you can go straight to the screen and show the QR code to our usher. (This can be on an email printout or on your mobile phone.)

If you don’t have access to a printer or a mobile phone, you can still quote your booking reference at the Box Office and we’ll print your ticket for you. Or, if you booked using your Membership, we can print one using your Membership card.

Beyond our standard adult price, we offer discounted tickets and membership options for over-60s and students (with valid student ID). Tickets are also cheaper for kids up to the age of 14.

Absolutely! (Members get some great discounts and benefits though, like no booking fees, so why not think about joining us?)
The £1.50 fee helps fund the running of our box offices all year round, investment in ticketing technology for the website and app, fraud-checks and security, hardware, staffing, IT, customer service support, and a whole lot more besides.
Unfortunately we can’t swap tickets. We can provide a refund so you can book for another film or showtime, but only up to 48 hours before the original screening you booked for. Check our refund policy for more details.
Sure, as long as you contact us up to 48 hours before the screening. We can’t offer refunds if you cancel less than 48 hours before your booked film or event. For full details of our refund policy, see our terms of admission.
Unfortunately we can’t offer refunds if you booked within 48 hours of the film.

Speak to a member of staff at the Box Office, or call our refunds hotline (020 7018 3629, open from 09.00 to 20.30).

We can only give refunds to the person who made the booking. If you bought or collected your tickets from the cinema, you need to return them at the Box Office in order to claim your refund.

If a film is ‘free list suspended’, it means we can’t accept certain vouchers and tickets to these screenings for a limited period of time. Check the terms and conditions of your voucher to see if it’s still valid for this period. To find out which films are free list suspended, ask at the Box Office or call our booking line.

When selecting tickets on the website, you should see a tab that says ‘Voucher’. Click on this tab, add the full voucher code in the field that appears, and then add the ticket to the basket. You can also use the voucher code when booking over the phone....

Unfortunately not

Audio description is a special service for blind and visually impaired cinemagoers. For selected films, a narration track is played through a special headset and fills the gaps between dialogue by describing what’s happening on screen. The track is undetectable to anyone not wearing a headset and so doesn’t affect their viewing experience.

To see which films have audio description, look for the ‘Audio described’ label next to a film’s time on the website and App; you can also call our dedicated booking line or ask at the Box Office. If you need the induction loop or a headset, please ask a member of staff when you arrive – we can also recommend the best seats to use in the screen.

These are screenings with subtitles. Everyone is welcome, and the audio track still plays as usual.
If you have any access needs, just ask a member of staff – they’ll be happy to help you! To prepare for your visit, you can also read all about accessibility at our cinemas here.

The Box Office opens at least 15 minutes before the start of the first film each day.
We try to let customers into the screen ten minutes before a show’s listed start time, but this may vary.
We do try to allow customers to enter the screening up to 20 minutes after the stated start time, however due to different circumstances this may not always be possible.

We reserve the right to refuse admission, or we may ask you to leave the premises without a refund, if you do any of the following:

  • behave in an anti-social or threatening manner, or put the safety of our customers, staff or property at risk
  • bring a camera or recording equipment of any kind into the cinema
  • breach any of our terms of admission
You’re welcome to take small bags and cases into a screen as long as they fit under your seat and don’t block the row or aisle. Unfortunately we can’t look after large items of luggage while you’re watching a film. You can leave prams/strollers in the foyer area of the screen, but this is at your own risk.
Yes you can, but please switch it off before the film starts. (The light is just as distracting as the sound!)
You can take it in with you, as long as it’s switched off and stored away at all times.
Contact us as soon as possible! Speak to a member of staff in the cinema, or, if you’d prefer not to approach us in person, call or email our Customer Care team (020 7326 2649 or customerservice@picturehouses.co.uk).
Feedback is always welcome! Ask to speak to a manager or send an email to customerservice@picturehouses.co.uk.
If you can, let a member of staff know while you’re at the cinema so we can tackle the problem then and there. If it’s something that can’t be resolved until after your visit, send us an email so we have it in writing and can investigate it further. We always aim to respond with a resolution as soon as we can (usually within seven days).

Child tickets are available to those under 15.

Our Autism-Friendly screenings are adapted in a variety of ways to help reduce anxiety and over-stimulation and ensure a safe, enjoyable cinema experience for people with autism, and their families, friends and carers. We aim to offer a relaxed and welcoming environment where staff are sensitive to the needs of children and families with autism. Tickets are at a reduced rate of £2.50 per person.

Adjustments include:

  • There are no trailers or advertisement, the lights left on low throughout the film and the volume is reduced.
  • There is the freedom to move around, make noise and sit where you like
  • you are welcome to take a break and leave the screen whenever you need to

For information on upcoming Autism-Friendly screenings near you visit our Autism-Friendly page.

Yes we do, but only for bookings made over the phone or in person at the Box Office.

Sure, you can do this at the Box Office. We can’t guarantee your favourite spot, but we can show you which seats (if any) are available.
