DISABLED ACCESS
Advance Booking
Advance booking is always a good idea so that our staff can readily provide assistance if required. Accompanying carers are eligible for a free ticket. We will be pleased to reserve allocated wheelchair spaces or other seats in any particular part of the auditorium if this is helpful. Please contact us in advance.
Customers With Limited Mobility
The ground floor is accessible to customers with limited mobility, including wheelchair users. The Box Office, café bar, kiosk, toilets and Screens 1, 2 and 3 are located on the ground floor. There are wheelchair spaces in four of the five screens (six in Screens 1 and 2, four in Screens 3 and 4). We have a lift for access to all other levels from the ground floor. Our café bar has adapted counters for wheelchair users.
Visually Impaired Customers
Guide dogs are welcome. If you wish to take your dog into a performance, please let us know when booking so that we can arrange an aisle seat. Our staff will be happy to provide drinking water for your dog. Large-print film schedules are available on request. We offer audio description for most screenings, and headsets are available to borrow.
Customers with Impaired Hearing
There is an induction loop in the Box Office and infrared facilities in all four screens and the basement Screening Room. To use the infrared system please ask for receiving equipment at the Box Office. You will be asked for a credit card or a £5.00 deposit for the equipment, which will be fully refunded on its return at the end of the screening. Certain performances carry subtitles and these are clearly indicated in the programme.
Seating plans
Screen 1 - aisles are located next to seats numbered 7 and 16
Screens 2, 3 and 4 - aisle is located next to seats numbered 1
Toilets
There are wheelchair-accessible adapted toilets on every floor. There is an alarm cord inside should you need to call a member of staff.
Disabled Parking
Blue-badge holders are permitted to park in Venn Street just outside the cinema. However, Venn Street is closed and pedestrianised Friday - Sunday. On these days we recommend using the adjacent Brommell's Road
