Advance booking is always a good idea so that our staff can readily provide assistance if required. Accompanying carers are eligible for a free ticket. We will be pleased to reserve wheelchair spaces or seats in any particular part of the auditorium if this is helpful. Please contact us in advance.
The ground floor is accessible to customers with limited mobility including wheelchair users. The Box Office, café-bar, kiosk, toilets and Screens 3 and 4 are all located on the ground floor. There are two wheelchair spaces in both screens. We regret that at present there is no lift and Screen 1 can only be accessed by ascending a staircase of 20 steps. Access to Screen 2 involves a further staircase of 23 steps. Our café-bar has an adapted counter for wheelchair users.
Guide dogs are welcome. If you wish to take your dog into a performance, please let us know when booking so that we can arrange an aisle seat. Our staff will be happy to provide drinking water for your dog. Our stair rails have bumps on the side to indicate the number of steps approaching each level. Three bumps mean that you are on the third step from the landing, two bumps that you are on the second step and one bump that you are on the final step. Large-print film schedules are available on request.
Induction loop systems are fitted in each of the four auditoria. To access the system, you will need to turn your hearing aid to the 'T' position. Certain performances carry subtitles and these are clearly indicated in the programme.
Screen 1 - aisles are located next to seats numbered 7 and 16
Screens 2, 3 and 4 - aisle is located next to seats numbered 1
There is a wheelchair-accessible adapted toilet on the ground floor. There is an alarm cord inside should you need to summon a member of staff.
Blue-badge holders are permitted to park in Venn Street just outside the cinema. However, Venn Street is closed and pedestrianised Friday - Sunday. On these days we recommend using the adjacent Brommell's Road
