A little haven tucked away on Venn Street, our bar serves a wide and delicious selection of wines and local beers as well our very own fair trade small-batch-roasted Picturehouse coffee. It’s a great spot for a nice drink in a relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant alternative to some of Clapham’s louder venues. (And if you fancy testing your movie knowledge, we even host a popular fortnightly film quiz!)
We serve up a full menu of scrumptious Pieminister pies with a host of optional sides, including creamy mash, mouthwatering gravy, minted mushy peas and more. If you’re looking for a smaller pre-film snack, we also have that covered – from pork and herb sausage rolls to free-range pork scratchings with applesauce. For our vegetarian and vegan customers, we have mixed organic olives to snack on, and ‘Heidi’, a goat’s-cheese-and-sweet-potato pie, or ‘Chook’s Away’, a creamy vegan ‘chicken’ and celeriac pie with smoked garlic & sherry. Whatever you choose, you’re in for a tasty treat.
So whether you’re a bit peckish next time you come to see a film or are just looking for somewhere to have a hearty meal, check out the bar at Clapham Picturehouse.
